Festive Wreath Making Workshop

Create your own beautiful Christmas wreath basket, with the option to add on an afternoon tea for an extra-special festive treat.

4-6 December* | £40 per person

This Christmas, get creative at our Festive Wreath Making Workshop. 

Guided by our Green Team, you'll create your own beautiful Christmas wreath, filling a wire basket wreath with some of our favourite seasonal plants, alongside berries, ribbons and decorative finishing touches. Take your handmade creation home to display on your front door or as a festive feature in your home.

Whether you're a seasoned crafter or trying wreath making for the first time, our Green Team will be on hand to guide you every step of the way.

While you craft, enjoy a hot drink from our restaurant, or make a day of it by adding a Festive Afternoon Tea for just £17.50 per person. We'll share the full details of our Festive Afternoon Tea soon. 

Workshop includes:

  • All materials provided, including fresh foliage, a metal wire wreath to decorate, ribbons, and tools.
  • Step-by-step guidance from our expert Green Team.
  • Your choice of a hot tea or coffee.
  • Your handcrafted wreath to take home and enjoy.

Afternoon tea add-on 

For those looking to extend their experience at Dobbies, you can also book an afternoon tea to enjoy after the wreath making session has ended. Including three tiers of traditional festive savoury and sweet treats, including our famous Dobbies scones served with Cornish clotted cream and a mini pot of jam.

Our Festive Luxury Afternoon Tea includes 3 tiers of delicious treats plus unlimited tea and coffee refills for just £19 per person. 

  • Bottom tier - Freshly made sandwiches with classic fillings: free-range egg & cress, smoked salmon with cream cheese & cucumber, honey-roast ham & tomato, and festive turkey & cranberry.
  • Middle tier - A duo of our famous plain and fruit scones, served with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam. 
  • Top tier - A delicious selection of patisserie treats, plus a tiramisu inspired profiterole.
  • Plus a pot of tea or coffee with unlimited free refills - or upgrade to a speciality hot drink or glass of prosecco at the point of booking.

Vegetarian Festive Afternoon Tea

Our Vegetarian Festive Afternoon Tea includes three tiers of delicious treats, plus unlimited tea or coffee refills just £19 per person.

  • First tier – Freshly made sandwiches with classic fillings: mature cheddar & tomato, cream cheese & cucumber, mature cheddar & red onion chutney, and free-range egg & cress.
  • Second tier – A duo of our famous plain and fruit scones, served with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam.
  • Top tier – A delicious selection of patisserie treats, plus a tiramisu-inspired profiterole.
  • Plus a pot of tea or coffee with unlimited free refills - or upgrade to a speciality hot drink or glass of prosecco at the point of booking.

  • Choose to upgrade your hot drink to a delicious Latte (120kcal), Cappuccino (128kcal), Mocha (275kcal), Hot Chocolate (275kcal) or Speciality Tea (14kcal) for just £0.50 extra (no unlimited refills).  
  • Make your afternoon tea a special occasion and upgrade with a 200ml bottle of Prosecco, for only £6.75 per adult aged 18 and over (payable at point of booking, not available in our Northern Ireland stores).

Food & dietary information

  • Please provide any allergy or dietary requirements in the 'allergen requirements' section when making your booking. If you wish to swap a sandwich filling, we can only replace it with an existing filling within the existing afternoon tea offering.
  • We’re unable to offer vegan or dairy-free options.
  • The dishes on the NGCI afternoon tea are made with ingredients which do not intentionally contain gluten. However, we handle gluten containing ingredients in our kitchens so we cannot guarantee our dishes are 100% gluten-free. Our NGCI afternoon tea is therefore not suitable for Coeliacs.
  • For allergen information please check the allergen matrix at dobbies.com. Due to the size and complexity of our kitchen we are unable to guarantee the absence of allergens in our products.
  • Tickets with Prosecco are only available for adults aged 18 and over. If you arrive having booked prosecco for someone under the age of 18, we will not be able to serve this to them.
  • We operate a Challenge 25 policy, so if you’re lucky enough to look under 25, we may ask for valid photo ID before serving alcohol. Thank you for your understanding.
