Join us for a creative session where you’ll design and build your own autumn-inspired terrarium - a miniature indoor landscape that captures the rich colours and textures of the season.
Plants have been carefully selected by Dobbies’ houseplant buyer, and RHS judge, Claire Bishop.
Led by our knowledgeable Green Team, you’ll be guided through the basics of terrarium planting, including how these self-contained environments work and simple tips to help your display thrive at home.
You’ll then create your own design, with the option to add seasonal decorative touches that can be changed or removed, so your terrarium can be enjoyed all-year-round.
Before or after your workshop, you can add on an Afternoon Tea at a discounted price of £17.50 per person.

First tier: Freshly-made sandwiches with classic fillings – free-range egg & cress, smoked salmon with cream cheese & cucumber, chicken & bacon and honey-roast ham & tomato.
Second tier: A duo of our famous plain and fruit scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam.
Top tier: A delicious selection of patisserie treats

Food & dietary information
- Please provide any allergy or dietary requirements in the 'allergen requirements' section when making your booking. If you wish to swap a sandwich filling, we can only replace it with an existing filling within the existing afternoon tea offering.
- We’re unable to offer vegan or dairy-free options.
- The dishes on the NGCI afternoon tea are made with ingredients which do not intentionally contain gluten. However, we handle gluten containing ingredients in our kitchens so we cannot guarantee our dishes are 100% gluten-free. Our NGCI afternoon tea is therefore not suitable for Coeliacs.
- For allergen information please check the allergen matrix at dobbies.com. Due to the size and complexity of our kitchen we are unable to guarantee the absence of allergens in our products.
- Tickets with Prosecco are only available for adults aged 18 and over. If you arrive having booked prosecco for someone under the age of 18, we will not be able to serve this to them.
- We operate a Challenge 25 policy, so if you’re lucky enough to look under 25, we may ask for valid photo ID before serving alcohol. Thank you for your understanding.
