Little Seedlings Club October Workshop - Gross Gardens | Sunday 5 October
October’s Little Seedlings workshop explores the grossest parts of our gardens. Children will learn all about creepy crawlies, stinky plants, composting, and how things like rotting leaves and fungi help improve soil and support wildlife. The session also includes a fun activity where children can create their own mini compost heap to take home, along with a sorting game to explore what can and can’t be composted. Children will also take a closer look at marvellous minibeasts like wiggly worms, maggots, and beetles, and learn how these tiny workers do important jobs in keeping our gardens thriving.
