This month’s Little Seedlings workshop is all about plants that can grow in water without soil.
We'll cover:
- What are hydroponics
- The differences between growing in water vs soil
- The history of hydroponics
- Plants we can grow without soil
- Plants that grow on other plants
- Propagating plants
Hydroponics are plants that don't require any soil, instead they grow in water or in misty air, like magic. They don't float around; they get special water with healthy food inside it, this helps them grow big and strong, even without soil.
Please note:
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Where stores are running multiple sessions it is the same workshop delivered at each one
- Parents or guardians wishing to order hot drinks for the session in advance can do so during the booking process
- Dates and times for our Little Seedlings Clubs vary by store and not all stores are able to participate
- Advance booking is required with spaces booked quickly – please book early to avoid disappointment
- Where a session is shown as 'Sold Out' – we're sorry, there are no more tickets available for that time
- Little Seedlings Club is currently not running at Antrim, Beaconsfield, Hungerford and Keston
