We've teamed up with Weber to help you get BBQ ready this spring

Join us to prepare, grill and enjoy a delicious 3 course menu under the guidance of a Weber-certified chef.

Choose your menu for the day:

10:30am session:

  • Cedar plant trout
  • Jalapeno stuffed popper pork tenderloin
  • Grilled street-corn
  • Curried cauliflower
  • Reverse seared steaks
  • Cinnamon maple grilled peaches

2.30pm session:

  • Maple-bourbon smoked chicken wings
  • Sweet potato fries
  • Cheese and bacon burger with smoked BBQ sauce
  • Mustard glazed onions
  • Reverse seared cote de boeuf
  • Salted caramel Guinness and chocolate cake

We'll also share some expert advice from the Weber team on:

  • How to BBQ the Weber way
  • Weber charcoal, gas & electric BBQs and accessories
  • Cleaning methods

By the end of the event you’ll be able to show off your new-found skills to family and friends and you’ll get a certificate to prove it.  You’ll also leave with a Weber grill apron, selection of Weber recipes plus a Dobbies voucher worth £45 off a Weber BBQ (terms and conditions apply).

The Weber sessions are running in the following stores only: Edinburgh, Lisburn, Stirling and Woodcote Green.

At £45 per person for the whole experience advanced booking is essential to avoid disappointment.

 

Meet the Chef at Edinburgh, Stirling and Woodcote Green - Shane Bagley

Shane Bagley is a classically trained chef turned Pit Master.  After starting his career at Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco he carried on working in some of this city's most notable restaurants and hotels. Eventually his wife brought him to the UK and they started two successful event and BBQ catering companies. They also started hosting private supper clubs and cookery courses which lead to him working with Weber BBQs. 

Shane is excited to show people an outdoor cooking experience beyond burgers and hot dogs and teach BBQ concepts so that even the novice can come away with the confidence it takes to host an al fresco dinner party.

 

Meet the Chef at Lisburn - Mark Doe

Mark trained and learnt his craft in some of the worlds leading hotels and restaurants including The Ritz in London, The Merrion hotel, Dublin, The QE 2 cruise liner and The Four seasons luxury hotel group. He was also Executive chef of the award winning Portmarnock Hotel and golf links, where he won many awards for his creative food. 

In 2006 he moved to Kerry to set up the Just Cooking cookery school, alongside his wife Bernie.
