Give your Father figure a day to remember by joining us for a Father’s Day Sunday Breakfast and Planting Experience at our York store. Starting with a delicious cooked breakfast and then moving on to a Grow-Your-Own herb planting workshop.
After breakfast, each guest will be guided through planting their own potted herb container - perfect to take home for summer cooking inspiration.
Whether he’s a seasoned gardener or a budding plant enthusiast, it’s a memorable way to spend time together and create something that will keep on growing!

Sunday Breakfast
You'll start your experience in our restaurant where we will have a delicious cooked breakfast waiting for you.

- Dobbies full breakfast with white toast 1,1kcal or grain toast 1,106kcal - Two Cumberland pork sausages, two rashers of bacon, black pudding, grilled tomato & flat mushroom, crispy hash brown, baked beans, a slice of white toast & a free-range egg, scrambled or fried
- Traditional breakfast with white toast 856kcal or grain toast 862kcal - Cumberland pork sausage, bacon, black pudding, hash brown, grilled tomato, baked beans, a slice of grain toast and a free-range egg, scrambled or fried
- Vegetarian breakfast with white toast 740 kcal or grain toast 746kcal - Two Quorn® sausages, hash brown, grilled tomato and flat mushroom, baked beans, a slice of grain toast and a free-range egg, scrambled or fried

Plus your choice of tea, americano, latte, cappuccino, flat white, hot chocolate or mocha and your choice of an Innocent smoothie or fruit juice.
Grow-Your-Own Experience
After breakfast, you'll move to our plant area where one of our Green Team will host a Q&A and demo to teach you all about the selection of herbs. We’ll provide you with gloves and all the tools you'll need, plus one of our oakwood effect barrel planters made of 100% recycled plastic material, making it durable, lightweight and perfect for both indoor and outdoor spaces. You'll also have a variety of herbs to choose from, carefully selected by our plant buyer, Nigel.
You’ll then create your very own planter (worth up to £40) which is yours to take away along with recipe cards, to help you enjoy it for months to come.

- Our plant areas are often located outside, so we suggest wrapping up warm for that portion of the event if inclement weather is predicted
