Don’t miss the new holiday edition of our hands-on planting experience, combined with a delicious Afternoon Tea - Tues 16th and Sat 20th July

You’ll start your 90-minute experience with the chance to relax and enjoy our traditional or luxury* Afternoon Tea - 3 tiers of sweet and savoury treats, plus unlimited tea and coffee refills

One of our plant experts will host a Q&A and demo, taking inspiration from holiday-inspired, tropical plants that will bring colour to your garden, celebrating summer living

You’ll then create your very own planter (worth £30) to take home. Learn all about our filler, thriller and spiller approach, using a mix of plants selected by our Senior Buyer, Claire, who features as a judge at RHS Chelsea. Plants will include Osteospermum, Canna Mango and Cordyline, plus a seasonal pot to suit your sunny, summer planting

Afternoon Tea

First tier - includes a selection of freshly made finger sandwiches, on a mix of white & grain bread, filled with smoked salmon & cream cheese, egg mayonnaise & watercress, and ham, rocket & wholegrain mustard

Second tier - our famous Dobbies scones served with Cornish clotted cream & a mini pot of jam

Top tier - a scrumptious selection of delicious, sweet treats including chocolate & hazelnut bar, a rainbow meringue kiss, lemon mousse and a mini macaron

Plus a pot of tea or coffee with unlimited refills (1367kcal per person)  

Add to your experience:

  • Choose our new luxury afternoon tea for just £4 extra per person (2277kcal). Not available in our Northern Ireland stores.
  • Upgrade your hot drink to a delicious latte (117kcal), cappuccino (92kcal), mocha (234kcal), hot chocolate (234kcal) or speciality tea (14kcal) for just £0.50 extra (no unlimited refills)

  • Advanced booking is recommended as availability cannot be guaranteed on the same day. However, our store teams will do their best to accommodate you if you contact them on the same day
  • Please bring your confirmation with you on the day - either printed or electronically
  • Please make your way to the restaurant in time for your allocated booking time
  • This event will not take place at Beaconsfield, Hungerford and Keston
  • The upgrade on the hot drink can be added on to your ticket during the booking process
  • Should you wish to purchase any additional items e.g. soft drinks, please order these on the day and pay directly to the restaurant
  • Advanced notification is required if you or any of your party have any dietary requirements or allergens. Please provide these details in the 'allergen requirements' section when making your booking
