For July and August we have a special Little Seedlings holiday club where your little ones can learn all about how to create a summer sanctuary in your garden for plants and wildlife.

Book in for one of the sessions to take a closer look at the common insects, birds and animals that will frequent your garden over the summer months.  We'll also be making bug hotels, learning interesting animal facts, and finding out how we can make our gardens into more wildlife-friendly spaces.

The workshop will cover:

  • Creating a summer sanctuary for nature and wildlife in your garden
  • Insects and other wildlife that are visible in summer
  • Interesting bug, bird and animal facts
  • How we can help nature and wildlife to thrive in our gardens
  • Craft activity – creating a bug hotel
  • The pollination process
  • How to attract bugs and other animals into your garden
  • Helping wildlife to stay cool in summer
  • Creatures of the summer nights
